A Hid In Treasure was founded through a journey of survival, faith, and community. After facing and overcoming cancer twice, I discovered that true strength often lies hidden within — waiting to be revealed through hope, purpose, and love. During my battle, it was the love and compassion of my community that lifted me, gave me hope, and helped me find renewed purpose. Their support taught me that healing and growth are never solitary journeys — they are cultivated through relationships that nurture both the heart and the soul.

That revelation inspired the creation of A Hid In Treasure — an organization built to give youth the same hope and encouragement that once carried me. What began as a small after-school homework club has grown as local educators, faith partners, and volunteers continue to join the mission to help young people thrive academically, emotionally, and socially.

Today, A Hid In Treasure stands as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving youth and families across the surrounding communities. Our team combines teachers, social-work professionals, and dedicated volunteers who believe that relationships are the key to change. We don’t just run programs—we walk beside every child like family, celebrating milestones and guiding them toward purpose-filled lives-celebrating their victories, guiding their growth, and reminding them that greatness already lives within, waiting to be cultivated.
